It centres on Dante Moretti the formidable head of the Chicago Cosa Nostra and Kat who gets ensnared by a debt her brother owes. Cold and calculating Mafia boss, meet hot headed fiesty take no shit Kat. A story of control and redemption, the book has violence a plenty, but my god if I wasn't feeling the need to explain every hot flush I was having reading this book, my husband thought i was in menopause and bought me a fan. Word of warning once you start with Ms Kincaids dark men, you wont be able to stop.
